San Francisco-based Doppelganger, which is developing avatar-based virtual worlds, said today that it has appointed Tim Stevens as President, CEO, and board member. Current CEO Andrew Littlefield will become Chief Creative Officer and retain his board seat. Stevens joins from Borland Software. Doppelganger is venture backed by Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Trident Capital, Greycroft, and others.
