San Jose-based Business Objects said this morning that it is buying Sunnyvale's Inxight Software. Financial deals of the acquisition were not disclosed. Inxight is a provider of text analytics, search, and data visualization software. The acquisition is expected to close in July of 2007. Inxight Software has more than 120 employees, 2006 revenues in excess of $25M, and is a spinout of Xerox PARC. Inxight's investors include VantagePoint Venture Partners, Alex Brown Ventures, Vertex Venture Capital, Reed Elsevier Ventures, Xerox Corp., Siemens Venture Capital and In-Q-Tel.
