DemandTec Files For IPO
San Carlos-based DemandTec, a software provider focused on merchandising and marketing strategy, has filed for an IPO. The firm said in a filing with the SEC last night that it is looking to raise up to $86.25M on the Nasdaq Global Market as DMAN. The IPO is being underwritten by Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse, William Blair & Company, JMP Securities, Montgomery & Co., and Pacific Crest Securities. DemandTec is venture backed by Crosspoint Venture Partners, Cargill, and Altos Ventures.
