DemandTec Closes Connect3 Acquisition
San Carlos-based DemandTec, a publisher of on-demand merchandising and marketing optimization software, said Wednesday that its acquisition of Connect3 Systems Inc. is now official. Financial terms of the all-cash deal, which was originally announced Jan. 26, were not disclosed. Headquartered in Cerritos, Connect3 is a privately held company that produces promotional planning software. DemandTec said Connect3's product suite is being incorporated into its End-to-End Promotion Management suite, which provides internal and external collaboration, promotion calendar optimization and multi-channel execution across several media.
