EMC, Oracle Team On Joint Solutions Deal
Redwood Shores-based Oracle and Hopkinton, Mass.-based data storage giant EMC said today that the two have engaged ina joint engineering, testing and integration and solutions development deal. The two said they will jointly integrate their solutions, with a focus on data warehousing, Oracle's grid computing products, enterprise security, and Oracle's Linux offerings. The deal includes validated configurations and testing of both hardware and software, along with a joint escalation center for customer support.
