Greenplum Names CFO
San Mateo-based open source database software startup Greenplum said today that it has appointed Michael Asher as CFO. Asher joins the firm from Newscale, where he served as CFO. Asher has also served at Octane Software, Gigalabs, and Cisco Systems. Greenplum develops an open source database targeted at the business intelligence and data warehousing market.
