ooma Launches Home Phone Service
Palo Alto-based ooma said today that it has launched a new home phone service, which the company said will allow users to make unlimited U.S. domestic calls. The firm, which has developed a hardware device which plugs into broadband connections and a local phone line. The firm has received $27M in two venture rounds from Draper Fisher Jurvetson, The Founder's Fund, worldview Partners, Draper Richards, and Wi Harper.
