New Leaf Venture Partners said today that it has closed on a $450M venture capital fund focused on healthcare technologies. The firm, which has offices in both Menlo Park and New YOrk, said that New Leaf Ventures II included existing investors and some new investors. The fund was originally capped at $400M. NLV Partners is a venture investor in clinical-stage biopharmaceutical products, early-stage medical devices, and molecular diagnostics.
