DeviceVM Adds $10M
San Jose-based DeviceVM, a firm which develops software which enables faster powerup of computers, said Wednesday afternoon that it has added $10M in a Series B funding round. The round was led by DFJ Dragon, and also included Sumitomo's venture arm, Presidio, and WR Hambrecht Ventures. DeviceVM recently rolled out Splashtop, the firm's software which allows for "instant on" of computers. The firm also said it closed a Series A financing worth $10.5M, bringing its total raised to $20.5M.
