Kosmix Raises $10M
Mountain View-based Kosmix, a firm which is developing vertical information sites, said Tuesday that it has raised $10M in an investment round led by DAG Ventures. Other investors included Accel and Lightspeed. Kosmix operates righthealth.com, a health consumer site, and rightaautos.com, a consumer auto site. Kosmix uses algorithms to automatically generate vertically focused web sites which include information, videos, and photos on different topics.
