Rocket Software To Acquire Netmanage
Massachusetts-based Rocket Software said today that it has agreed to acquire NetManage in a merger transaction. The deal is worth approximately $69M in cash. NetManage, which is based in Cupertino, develops software for web enabling enterprise information systems. Rocket Software is a software development firm headquartered in Newton, Mass. the firms said that the deal is subject to completion if due diligence, commitments from a lender to finance the purchase, and other closing conditions.
