Micro Focus Buys NetManage
UK-based Micro Focus International plc said Thursday that it has agreed to pay $7.20 per share for Cupertino-based NetManage, a provider of enterprise web software, or approximately $73.3M. According to Micro Focus, the transaction is expected to strengthen its position as a player in what it calls the "Application Modernisation" market. The deal is expected to close in June.
