Quantcast Measures Up $20M In Series B Funding
San Francisco-based Quantcast announced Tuesday that it has closed a Series B round of funding worth $20M. The round comes from Founders Fund and Polaris Venture Partners. Quantcast provides a service used to quantify web traffic for online publishers; the firm uses embedded code on publisher web sites to measure traffic. According to Ken Howery of Foudners Fund, the investment in Quantcast is the firm's first from Founders Fund II. Howery, and Mike Hirshland of Polaris join Quantcast's board with the investment.
