San Francisco-based
Quantcast, a provider of Internet traffic measurement services for web sites, said today that it has raised $27.5M in a Series C financing round. The round was led by Cisco, and also included Polaris Venture Partners as co-lead, as well as Founders Fund and Revolution Ventures. Quantcast offers third party, independent verification of web site traffic for web publishers, including NBC Universal, Time Inc., Hulu.com, CBS Corporation, Fox News, ABC Inc., Bloomberg and others.
