Calista Acquired By Microsoft
Software giant Microsoft said late Monday evening that it has acquired San Jose-based Calista, as part of an effort to accelerate the adoption of virtualization technology. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Calista develops software for Windows Server Terminal Services and remote access to desktops and multimedia. Calista was venture backed by Greylock Partners and Lightspeed Venture Partners.
