Marquiss Raises $1.3M For Wind Turbines
Folsom-based Marquiss Wind Power said Thursday that it has closed a $1.3M, first financing round for its wind turbine technology. The Series A funding round came from Velocity Venture Capital, and also included Strategis Early Ventures. Marquiss develops roof-top wind turbines for allowing businesses to generate clean power.
