NowPublic Buys Truemors
NowPublic, the online crowd-sourced news site, said Thursday that it has acquired Truemors, the online rumor site started by Guy Kawasaki. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. According to Guy Kawasaki, in his blog, he became chairman of NowPublic's board of advisors as part of the deal. Toronto-based NowPublic runs a news site where anyone can add news items, photos, and videos about world events.
