San Jose-based online auction firm eBay said this morning that the firm has rolled out a new ecommerce marketplace called WorldofGood.com. The firm said that the new site will offer products with a "positive impact on people and the planet." The new site features products made from recycled or natural materials, which are organic, or support artisan women in developing nations. According to eBay, the new site will rely on third party verification from third party groups like TransFair USA, Co-op America, and Aid to Artisans. eBay's WorldOfGood site offers everything from art, food, and gift baskets to toys and jewelry.
