Yang Steps Aside At Yahoo
Sunnyvale-based Yahoo said Monday that CEO Jerry Yang has stepped down as CEO. According to Yahoo, Yang will continue to serve on the board, as the firm initiates a search for a new CEO. Yang returned as CEO in June of 2007, but since has been a lightning rod for controversy as Yahoo has struggled against rival Google. Yahoo said it has retained Heidrick & Struggles to assist in the CEO search.
