Analyst: Intel Next On Layoffs
An analyst at FBR Capital Markets, Craig Berger, said today that he expects Intel Corp. to cut 6 to 7 percent of its headcount, or roughly 5,000 to 6,000 employees. The prediction came as competitor AMD said it is expecting a drop of 25 percent in its revenues.
