Appcelerator Gains $4.1M For Rich Internet Software
Mountain View-based Appcelerator said today that it has raised $4.1M in a Series A funding round. The round came from Storm Ventures. Appcelerator is developing web software which allows for the easy creation of rich Web applications. According to the firm, the funding will go towards further advancing and extending the functionality of its software. Appcelerator's products are distributed under the open source Apache Public License.
