Appcelerator Buys Particle Code
Mountain View-based Appcelerator, a developer of software used to develop mobile web applications, said today that it has agreed to acquire Particle Code, which develops mobile gaming and HTML5 development software. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Appcelerator said that Particle Code's team has joined the company's team in Mountain View. Appcelerator is run by Jeff Haynie, and is backed by eBay, Sierra Ventures, Storm Ventures and Larry Augustin.
