RiseSmart Snags $3M For Jobs Site
Sunnyvale-based RiseSmart, which operates an online job site and corporate outplacement service, said today that the firm has raised $3M in a Series A financing round. The round came from Norwest Venture Partners. RiseSmart said that the firm uses web technology and a team of HR professionals to help senior level professionals find jobs. The firm has previously raised $1.5M in seed funding. In conjunction with the new funding, the firm has added Venkat Mohan of NVP to its board.
