RiseSmart Acquired By Randstad For $100M
San Jose-based Risesmart, a provider of career outplacement services whcih is backed by Norwest Venture Partners, Storm Ventures, Accel-KKR and angels, has been acquird by Randstad Holdings nv. Randstad Holdings will pay $100M to acquire RiseSmart. The companies said RiseSmart will continue to serve customers under the RiseSmart brand. RiseSmart is led by Sanjay Sathe, who continues to lead the firm. RiseSmart was founded in 2007, and said its investors all saw a successful exit with the transaction.
