RiseSmart Gets $4.6M More
San Jose-based RiseSmart, a provider of Web-based job search services, said today that it has raised an additional $4.6M in a Series A financing. The firm said the round included $2.8M from Storm Ventures, and $1.8M from Norwest Venture Partners. The new funding round brings it to a total of $8.85M raised in funding. Along with the funding, Storm Ventures' Sanjay Subhedar joins the company's board. RiseSmart combines online web technology with a team of HR professionals to help displaced workers.
