Questra Sold To Axeda Corp.
Axeda Corp. announced Tuesday that it has acquired the technology and related assets of Redwood City, Calif.-based Questra Corp. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Questra develops software for managing and monitoring remote devices and counts General Electric, Heidelberg, Kodak, and Scientific Applications International Corp. among its clientele. Founded in 2000 and headquartered in Foxboro, Mass., Axeda provides on-demand remote software services to product manufacturers. The company, which also maintains an office in Rochester, N.Y., said it will remain based in Foxboro.
