Yahoo Names Branding Head
Sunnyvale-based Yahoo said Tuesday that it has hired on a new executive to boost the firm's branding efforts. According to Yahoo, it has hired on Penny Baldwin as Senior Vice President, Global Integrated Marketing and Brand Management. Baldwin joins the firm from Young & Rubicam Brands, Y&R Advertising and Wunderman Direct Marketing. The firm said that Baldwin has worked with Microsoft, Intel, Oracle, AMD, NetApp, Hitachi Data Systems, Siebel Systems, Hewlett-Packard, Cadbury, Schweppes, Foster Farms, Jacuzzi, Wells Fargo, DHL, AT&T and Palm and others on their branding efforts.
