SCM Microsystems Completes Merger
Fremont-based SCM Microsystems said today that the firm has completed its merger with Southern California firm Hirsch Electronics Corp. According to the two, Hirsch has become a wholly ownes subsidiary of SCM. Hirsch was a provider of physical security products, including access control, card readers, alarm monitoring, and other related products. SCM's U.S. headquarters are in Fremont, its global headquarters are in Germany.
