SST Acquisition Completes
The acquisition of Sunnyvale-based SST has completed, according to acquirer Microchip Technology. Microchip said late Thursday that 90.9 percent of SST shares were voted in favor of the merger agreement, where Microchippaid $3.05 per share in cash for SST. SST said that around 65.91 percent of SST's shares were voted in favor of the merger, which originally was offered at $2.85 per share in February.
