Extreme Networks, McAfee Tie On Enterprise Security
Santa Clara-based Extreme Networks and McAfee, also based in Santa Clara, announced today that the two have formed a strategic alliance to address the enterprise market. The firms said they will tie Extreme's networking and security products along with McAfee's host security, network intrusion, firewall, and data leakage software. Financial details of the alliance were not disclosed. The deal includes joint marketing efforts and interoperability testing.
