Egnyte Gets $6M
Mountain View-based Egnyte, a provider of storage-as-a-service for small and mid-sized businesses, said today that it has raised $6M in a Series A funding round. The round came from Polaris Venture Partners and seed investor Maples Investments. The firm provides hosted, file servers to small and mid-sized businesses. The company said the funding will go towards accelerating market adoption and growing channel distribution.
