MontaVista Promotes Marketing VP
Santa Clara-based MontaVista Software, a developer of embedded Linux operating systems, reported Tuesday that it has promoted Dan Cauchy to VP Marketing. Cauchy will report to CEO Rusty Harris. Cauchy was most recently the firm's Senior Director of Marketing, and is currently chairman of the Carrier Grade Linux Workgroup. MontaVista's version of the open source Linux operating system includes extensions and real-time OS capability used by developers of embedded hardware products.
