MontaVista Sells Off Automotive Linux Business
Santa Clara-based embedded software and real-time operating systems maker
MontaVista
has sold off its automotive Linux infotainment business, according to buyer
Mentor Graphics
. Financial details of the transaction were not announced by the companies. According to Mentor Graphics, it purchased certain assets from MontaVista, including MontaVista's Automotive Technology Platform (ATP). Mentor said offerings from Mentor and MOntaVista Automotive are in production at three automotive OEMs, with active development at seven Tier 1 automotive suppliers.
