Engine Yard Raises $19M
San Francisco-based Engine Yard, a developer of Ruby on Rails development tools, said today that it has raised $19M in a Series C funding round. The round included new investors DAG Ventures, Bay Partners, and Presidio Ventures, along with prior investors Benchmark Capital, Amazon.com, and New Enterprise Associates. The firm said the funding will go to continue build out of its Engine Yard Cloud product. The funding brings the firm's total raised to $37.5M.
