IXYS has been acquired by
Littelfuse, in a deal worth $750M, the two said this morning. The two companies said the transaction, a mix of cash and stock, has an enterprise value of $655M. IXYS stockholders will have the choice to receive either $23.00 in cash or 0.1265 of a share of Littelfuse common stock in the deal. IXYS is a manufacturer of everything from metal-oxide semiconductor field effect transistors (MOSFETs), insulated gate bipolar transistors (IGBTs) to embedded microcontrollers, AC regulators for the wind energy market, RF and microwave devices, and more.
