CloudShield Technologies has been acquired by defense integrator
SAIC, SAIC announced this morning. Financial terms of the deal were not announced. According to SAIC, it has acquired CloudShield for its deep packet inspection and network traffic analysis capabilities, which meet specific requipmrents of its U.S. federal government and commercial customers. CloudShield was venture backed by Foundation Capital, Paladin Capital Group, Tektronix, TPG Ventures, and Velocity Interactive.
