SAIC Buys GeoViz.com
San Diego-based Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) has acquired Campbell-based GeoViz.com, a provider of software for the 2D and 3D viewing of geospatial data through web browsers. Terms were not disclosed. GeoViz.com serves government and military customers, who use the company's software for annotating and sharing geospatial data. SAIC said that GeoViz employees will become part of the firm's Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Information Technology (C4IT) Business Unit, and continue to operate from the firm's facility in Campbell, California.
