Synopsys Acquires VaST
Mountain View-based Synopsys said earlier this week that it has acquired VaST Systems Technology Corporation, a developer of virtual prototyping products. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Synopsys said that it will add VaST's virtual prototyping solutions to its existing product portfolio. VaST was venture backed by ZenShin Capital, Allen Buckeridge, Foundation Capital, and Mohr Davidow Ventures.
