KACE Acquired By Dell
Mountain View-based KACE, a developer of systems management software and appliances, has been acquired by Dell, the computer maker said today. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. KACE has previously raised funding from Norwest Venture Partners and Sigma Partners. Dell was a distributor of KACE's hardware appliances, which are used for system inventory and device discovery, configuration management, and IT deployment
