Informatica Buys 29West
Redwood City-based Informatica said Monday that it has acquired 29West, a provider of ultra-low latency messaging technology, used by brokerage firms. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. 29West was based in Warrenville, Illinois. Informatica said that 29West's technology offers an order of magnitude improvement in latency, throughput and predictability to other technology, and is used by more than 100 financial services firms.
