Informatica Buys International Address Validation Firm

reported Tuesday that it has acquired AddressDoctor, a provider of address validation technology. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. AddressDoctor's services are focused on global address validation, covering what Informatica said are more than 200 countries and territories. The firm's services include delivery point validation and geocoding of street level addresses, particularly in non-US locations.
