, a stealthy developer of photovoltaic products, announced late Friday that it has raised $8.5M in a Series A funding round. The roudn was led by Peninsula Ventures, and also included prior investors Alloy Ventures and Labrador Ventures. As part of the funding, Sam Lee of Peninsula and David Waserstein of I2BF will join the firm's board. Integrated Photovoltaics said its products are designed to "dramatically reduce" the cost of generating electricity.
