Facebook Acquires Divvyshot
Palo Alto-based Facebook has acquired Divvyshot, a photo sharing site which allows groups of users to share their common pool of photos. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Divvyshot said that the firm's team will join Facebook's engineering team; however, Divvyshot said it will begin winding down its operations as a result of the buy, with the service completely shutting down in six weeks.
