said Friday that it has acquired San Francisco-based
Metaweb
, a provider of semantic search software and operator of database Freebase. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Metaweb had raised $57.4M in funding from Benchmark Capital, DAG Ventures, Goldman Sachs, Millenium Ventures, and Omidyar Network.
