Juniper Networks Buys SMobile For $70M
Sunnyvale-based Juniper Networks said last night that it is acquiring Ohio-based SMobile, a developer of smart phone and tablet security software. The deal is worth $70M in cash. According to Juniper, SMobile's products are used to protect Android, Apple iOS, Symbian, BlackBerry and Windows Mobile operating systems from viruses, spyware, identity theft and other threats.
