Santa Clara-based
VirtualLogix, a developer of virtualization technology for mobile handsets, has been acquired by
Red Bend Software. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. According to Red Bend, the buy will allow it to enter the high-growth mobile virtualization market. VirtualLogix has approximately 150 employees, and was venture backed by Atlas Venture, Espirit Capital Partners, Index Ventures, Intel Capital, and Motorola.
