Power Integrations Invests $30M In SemiSouth
San Jose-based power Integrations said today that it has invested $30M in a strategic investment in Starkville, Mississippi-based SemiSouth, a developer of high-voltage, silicon-carbine semiconductors. The firm said the investment will help drive adoption of SemiSouth's technology, which is used for power conversion in solar and wind inverters, hybrid/electric vehicles, and other applications.
