Flixster Acquired By Warner Bros.
San Francisco-based Flixster, the movie reviews and rating site, has been acquired by Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group. Warner Bros. announced the acquisition this morning. No financial details of the buy were disclosed. Flixster was venture backed by Lightspeed Ventures and Pinnacle Ventures. Warner Bros. said the acquisition also included Rotten Tomatoes, part of Flixster, a movie news and information site.
