Digital Chocolate, the game publishing firm run by Trip Hawkins, said this morning that it has acquired
Sandlot Games, a maker of casual games. Sandlot Games is known for its titles Cake Mania, Super Granny, Tradewinds, and Westward. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Digital Chocolate is venture backed by Sequoia Capital, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Sutter Hill, Bridgescale Partners, and others.
