Chegg On Acquisition Roll, Acquires Zinch
Santa Clara-based Chegg is on an acquisition roll, saying today that it has acquired Zinch, an online site which allows students to showcase themselves to universities, helping them to gain scholarships and connections to admission officers and other students. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced by the companies. Zinch is based in Provo, Utah. The acquisition by Chegg is at least the third acquisition by the company in the past year; the firm acquired homework help site Student of Fortune in August, and had acquired fellow homework help site Cramster last December.
